2000 MOORE RANCH / 6J PAINT HORSE SALE REPORT

Moore Ranch/6J Paint Horses completed their 2nd horse sale in history! The sale was well attended with more than 300 people from around the country and Canada. VIP's from the American Paint Horse Association including EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, ED ROBERTS, PAINT HORSE JOURNAL EDITOR & SENIOR DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, DARREL DODDS, and ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, JIM KELLEY and Central Region's Sales Representative SHAWN McCOY attended to witness the largest breeder's performance Paint horse production sale in history.

the late DELTA FLYER.

APHA's representative's were also in attendance to present Floyd and Maryann Moore with their belt buckle (photo to right) custom designed by Gist for their 2000 Red Dun Tobiano stallion sired by DELTA OLENA, the 500,000th APHA horse to be registered, claiming the name, honor and title of "HALF MILLION".

The Moore's purchased the rights for this APHA milestone earlier at the PAINT HORSE WORLD SHOW. It was auctioned off to the highest bidder for $10,000. The Moore's were glad to support APHA and all their efforts, and were equally excited to put the historical name on one of their best horses...

Over 150 Paint horses were sold at the sale, including the LAST FOAL CROP OF DELTA FLYER, 30 AQHA Mares in foal to Moore Ranch Stallions, 23 APHA mares, ALL TOBIANOS, sired by Moore Ranch Stallions sold in foal to Moore Ranch Stallions. In addition, 2-year-olds, yearling, and weanlings out of daughters or granddaughters of DOC O LENA, PEPPY SAN BADGER, PEPPY SAN, MR SAN PEPPY, SONITAS LAST, NU BAR, COLONEL FRECKLES, GAY BAR KING and DELTA FLYER also sold.
